South Dublin, last year’s beaten finalists, have to travel to Offaly, where they are sure to get a tough game.
Other matches see Meath at home to Longford v Westmeath and the senior J2 clubs against Co. Kildare.
This has developed into very good competition and it is a pity that there are number of counties who are not entering teams. The committee look forward next year to seeing these counties entering and giving their players a chance to represent their respective counties.
Last year’s final took place before the Provincial Towns Cup final and proved to be an entertaining curtain raiser.
