Leinster ‘A’ will face Munster ‘A’ at Donnybrook Stadium in the quarter-finals of the British & Irish Cup on the weekend of 30th March.

Details have yet to be confirmed for the fixture, which will take place on the same weekend as the Champions Cup Quarter-Final against Saracens at Aviva Stadium.

Leinster ‘A’ topped British & Irish Cup Pool 2 with five bonus point wins and a try bonus defeat in their six games, scoring 235 points.

The ‘A’ team started and finished the pool stage with games against Doncaster Knights. The away tie in Round 1 ended with Leinster ‘A’ claiming a bonus point at Castle Park in a 17-41 victory.

In the return fixture last weekend, Doncaster came to Donnybrook and inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on the ‘A’ team, 28-37.

In the first home game of this season’s British & Irish Cup the ‘A’ team defeated Cardiff Blues Premiership Select in some wet and windy conditions, but came out on top, 29-10.

In the return fixture at Pontypridd RFC’s Sardis Road home, the ‘A’ team had to dig in to score some late tries to win it 27-41.

In the back-to-back games in December Leinster ‘A’ first travelled to Ashton Gate to face Pat Lam’s Bristol, winning a cracking contest 35-46.

In the return fixture on 15th December, Leinster ‘A’ once again claimed a bonus point in a 50-15 win.
