An estimated crowd of over 8,000 Leinster supporters greeted the victorious Heineken Cup winning squad at a sun-kissed homecoming ceremony in the RDS on Sunday afternoon…
The huge audience were entertained as Rocky Elsom, Felipe Contepomi, Captain Leo Cullen and Coach Michael Cheika spoke about what the victory meant for them and the whole squad stayed to sign autographs and pose for photos afterwards.
Upcoming band All star Charge kicked off proceedings with a strong of old classics as the crowd entered the field from 1pm, three hours before the team’s arrival which was greeted by rapturous applause.
