Three Leinster players have been named in the Ireland Sevens squad for the forthcoming Rugby World Cup 7s in Dubai…
Ireland qualified for the finals, which take place in Dubai from March 5th to March 7th, by dint of their performances in the qualifying tournaments in Poland and Denmark last summer. Ireland have been drawn in a tough group for the RWC 7s alongside Australia, Samoa and noted 7s exponents Portugal.
Ireland will open their RWC 7s campaign against Samoa on Thursday March 5th, with games against Australia and Portugal the following day.
