As part of its ongoing ambition to grow the game of rugby in the province, Leinster Rugby is using the rest of the 2018/19 season to undertake an independent review of the longer-term future of its Age Grade programme.

The programme is considered a vital part of Leinster Rugby’s strategy for a vibrant community game within the province, but also for the longer-term success of the club at professional level.

The aim of the review is to:

“Gain a deeper understanding and analyse the current challenges that exist in schools, clubs and other settings to developing Age Grade Rugby within Leinster, with a view to confirming and setting the best future direction for the next decade.”

The process is being carried out on behalf of Leinster Rugby by independent consultants – Inside Track – and involves one of the most wide-ranging engagement process undertaken comprising face-to-face interviews, focus groups/workshops, consultation roadshows and a comprehensive online survey.

Leinster Rugby is keen for as many views as possible to be considered and is, therefore, requesting all key stakeholders in the game – school/college principals and teachers, club coaches and administrators, and Age Grade players over 16 – to complete the short online survey below.

All views will be treated as 100% confidential, and the review findings and any recommendations for change are to be presented to the Leinster Rugby Committee at the end of April 2019. The survey only takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Please take part as your input will be valuable in shaping the long term future of rugby in Leinster – From The Ground Up.
