There were no fresh injury concerns for Leo Cullen and the Leinster Rugby coaching team after Friday’s Guinness PRO14 game away to Edinburgh.
Adam Byrne made his first appearance for Leinster since 3rd November and came through the game with no issues following a knee injury.
Despite defeat to Richard Cockerill’s side, Leinster picked up two bonus points from the game which, coupled with Scarlets’ loss away to Benetton Rugby, meant the province moved into top spot in PRO14 Conference B on points difference.
Leinster will face Scarlets twice over the next three weeks in what will be a season-defining series of games in the PRO14, with the Southern Kings paying a historic visit to the RDS on Friday, 23rd February, in between the fixtures against the Welsh side.
The IRFU provided an injury update on Monday afternoon on three Leinster players involved in the 6 Nations win over Italy.
Robbie Henshaw, who suffered a shoulder injury in the 56-19 win, has undergone a procedure on the injured shoulder and has been ruled out of the remainder of the 6 Nations.
Tadhg Furlong underwent a scan that revealed a minor hamstring injury and Jack Conan took a bang on his shoulder but both are expected to be available for selection for the Round 3 game against Wales on 24th February at Aviva Stadium.
