Leinster Rugby are inviting applications to tender for the provision of food for players and staff in their training base in University College Dublin.

Leinster Rugby is one of the four professional provincial rugby union teams from the island of Ireland.

They compete in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup. The objective of Leinster Rugby over the next three years is to advance all aspects of player preparation and development leading to higher levels of on-field performance.

The standard of food delivery must reflect Leinster Rugby’s objectives and mission to be a global standard bearer of professional club rugby.

Meals are provided based on the teams playing schedule but are required for a minimum of three days per week. The provision of refuel throughout the season is an 11-month duration with a period of 3-4 weeks off for the off season.

The contract for food provision will be for a minimum of three years. The probationary period will be for six months. Leinster Rugby reserve the right to cancel the contract within the probationary period if they feel the standards outline and agreed upon are not being met.

The food provider will work closely with the Leinster Rugby performance nutritionist and the operations manager to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of food on a weekly and daily basis.
