The sun is shining and there is only one week to go until the Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Summer Camps return.

The hugely popular camps are set to sell out this year with over 2,300 kids aged six-to-12 already booked in to attend this year.

The Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Summer Camps take place in 27 venues throughout the 12 counties of Leinster, during July and August, with the first week of summer camps kicking off next Monday, 2nd July. Each camp will revolve around maximising enjoyment and learning to play the Leinster Way.

Ken Morre, Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Summer Camps Manager, commented: “Playing rugby in the summer months allows the kids to enjoy the game that little bit more, usually in the sunshine. This year, we’ve expanded our camps in every county throughout the province as most camps sold out by the end of our Early Bird.”

Energia Park, Blackrock, Greystones, Wexford Wanderers, Kilkenny, Terenure and Mullingar RFC have already reached full capacity, with limited places left on the Seapoint, Clondalkin, Balbriggan, North Kildare and Tullow camps.

We advise everyone to book now before its too late.

Players at the Leinster Rugby Summer Camps will receive:

  • Five days of coaching from 9.30am-1.30pm, Monday to Friday, trained by Leinster Rugby fully accredited IRFU coaches.
  • Meet Leinster Rugby players.
  • See the European Champions Cup.
  • One free junior ticket to a selected Leinster game.
  • An adidas training t-shirt, rugby ball, and a draw string bag.
  • Learn to play the Leinster Way, make new friends and most importantly have fun.
