Clongowes hooker Dylan Donnellan scored the only try of the game for the hosts on a wet afternoon in Donnybrook with Gonzaga College out-half Conor McKeon adding a brace of penalties.
Munster out-half G Lyons replied with the visitors’ only score, a penalty, but the Blues were good value for their win on a difficult day for fast flowing rugby.
