Leinster Rugby’s Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 tie with RC Toulon will take place on Friday, 2 April at the RDS Arena (KO 5.30pm, live on BT Sport), EPCR have confirmed.

The fixture confirmation comes following the Champions Cup knockout stage draw which took place last Tuesday in Lausanne.

As Leinster Rugby won both Champions Cup pool matches against Montpellier and Northampton Saints on the pitch before the suspension of the tournament in January, Leo Cullen’s side were guaranteed a home tie.

However, should Leinster be successful against Toulon they will face a trip to either Exeter Chiefs or Lyon in the quarter-finals.

Leinster last faced the three-time European champions in the pool stage of the 2015/16 Champions Cup, with Toulon winning both ties.
