It’s been confirmed that Leinster ‘A’ will welcome Munster ‘A’ to Donnybrook Stadium for the Quarter-Final of the British & Irish Cup on Friday, 30th March (Kick Off: 3.00pm).

The game will kick off a huge weekend of rugby for Leinster as the senior team welcome Saracens to the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, 1st April at 3.30pm in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions Cup.

Leinster ‘A’ won back-to-back British & Irish Cup titles in 2013, defeating Newcastle Falcons 18-17 in the final at Kingston Park, and 2014, defeating Leeds Carnegie (now Yorkshire Carnegie) in the final at Donnybrook by 44-17.

Ireland Under 20s head coach Noel McNamara is also the head coach of Leinster ‘A’ and oversaw a campaign this season that would see his young charges win five of their six pool games to secure the home Quarter-Final against Munster ‘A’.

The final pool game against Doncaster Knights was the only blight on an otherwise very impressive campaign.
