Leinster Rugby’s most recognizable hair style is no more after Clondalkin’s very own Predator look alike Brian “Bruiser” Doyle sheered his dreadlocked barnet…

All action and exemplary performances are not the only thing that made talented forward, Doyle stand out since making his senior Clondalkin debut three years ago. His unique Bob Marleyesque mop made him instantly recognizable around Leinster Rugby grounds.

Clon’s player of the year last season famous dreads are now more however, after a prolonged sheering session in aid of charity in Gordon Park recently.

The de-dreaded Doyle has now had a complete hairstyle over hall and the dreads which took over five years to cultivate have been replaced by a new aerodynamic bald look.

The clubs vice captain, however claims the transformation was worth it as charity has benefited.

And despite being ruled out due to injury from Clon’s most recent tie has dismissed fears he will suffer a Sampson style remission.

“I was very nervous beforehand because I had grown very attached to my dreads. But we raised around €;2,200 for the Irish Cancer Society so it was well worth it. People have been making the Samson comparison but hopefully I will play well again this year. At least no one can pull my hair at the bottom of a ruck now!”
