Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of Friday’s BKT United Rugby Championship game against Benetton Rugby in the RDS Arena (KO: 7.35pm – live on TG4, Premier Sports and URC TV).

Thankfully there is mostly positive news on the injury front as Cullen takes stock of a 29-33 away win against Zebre Parma.

All of Rónan Kelleher (shoulder), Dave Kearney (hamstring), Will Connors (knee) and Ross Byrne (foot) came through the game at the weekend with no issues after recovering from their respective injuries.

There was also positive news on two players returning from injury with Joe McCarthy (ankle) and Jordan Larmour (knee) stepping into the final stages of their rehabilitation programmes this week.

There are no further updates on Hugo Keenan (abdominal and knee injury), James Lowe (calf), James Tracy (neck), Liam Turner (toe) and Tommy O’Brien (knee) who all remain sidelined.

Tickets for the first home game of the BKT URC season against Benetton Rugby in the RDS Arena on Friday evening are still on sale HERE.
