Leinster captain Isa Nacewa scored the first try inside the opening five minutes, with Ulster responding before the break through Craig Gilroy.
Leinster again scored early at the start of the second period with Jamie Heaslip going over seven minutes into the half, with Sean Cronin adding to Leinster’s tally to make it 30-11 – Johnny Sexton kicking 15 points in total.
Ulster fought back to score through Gilroy again, but there was to be no late comeback as Leinster secured a place in the Guinness PRO12 Final for the sixth time in seven seasons.

In the other semi-final, a Niyi Adeolokun try and 11 points from the boot of USA out-half AJ MacGinty secured a 16-11 win for Connacht over Glasgow Warriors.
The western province finished the game with 14 men as Rodney Ah You was yellow carded in the closing stages of the game, but they held on to win and book their place in the final at BT Murrayfield.
