Message from the OLSC ahead of the Champions Cup Semi-Final
April 19, 2018 4:00 pm OLSC
Leinster Rugby head into this game on the back of an unbeaten run in Europe this season. We may be top seeds but – like everything else that has gone before – it will not count on Saturday when the winner will take all and claim a place in the final.
Scarlets will provide incredibly tough opposition and their expected 5,000-strong travelling support will no doubt want to drown out the home crowd at every opportunity.
With this in mind, we need everybody to be as vocal as possible in support of the boys. The team will be arriving by bus passing Elvery’s outside the Aviva Stadium at 2pm so be sure to get there early so they can see our support.
Once inside the stadium, it is crucial we once again become the 16th man and make ourselves heard, leaving both teams in no doubt of our support. Regardless of what’s happening on the pitch, keep the noise going throughout. We can take nothing for granted. We must do what we can to give energy to what will undoubtedly be tired bodies come the closing stages of the match.
Bring your hats, scarves and flags; paint your face, dye your hair… do whatever you can to make yourself seen and heard!
Be seen, be heard, be loud, be proud and most importantly be blue!
