Held in Streamstown, over 100 children (both boys & girls) took part in the tag rugby matches. The new Leinster Rugby Roadshow was also on site for children to practice their skills during the day and every child went home with some Leinster Rugby prizes having thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Thanks to David Farrelly for organising the event and to Midlands RDO Derek Maybury and Co. Offaly YDO Pieter Swanepoel who helped referee the matches and hand out the prizes.
The next rugby event for children in Westmeath is the Leinster Rugby Summer Camp in Mullingar RFC July 13th – 17th.
