The former Academy prop, who has played 10 times already this season, received his award in UCD ahead of Saturday’s PRO12 clash against the Scarlets.

October was a memorable month for the 22-year-old tight-head prop who made his Heineken Cup debut away to the Ospreys and featured in four games overall.
