The Naas Under-10 squad were in action last Saturday evening under lights at Donnybrook when they travelled from Naas along with their Coaches, Mentors and Parents to play a friendly match against Old Wesley ahead of the Leinster Senior League Shield Semi Final…
Playing conditions that evening proved ideal and both teams gave an excellent display of rugby and in particular their rucking, tackling and ball handling skills were most impressive.
The Naas players who participated were as follows: Aaron McNelis, Geoff McNelis, Donagh Lawlor, Niall Majury, Chris Hart, Shane Penrose, Ultan Casserley, Sean Aherne, Craig Nevin, Sam Murphy, Mark Dennison and Pat Taaffe.
The team are coached by: Iain Majury, Philip Lawlor, Mark McNelis, Anthony Casserley and Frank Aherne from Naas RFC.

Following their friendly match the Under-10 players from both Naas and Old Wesley formed a guard of honour for the Senior players taking part in the League Semi Final and cheered on their respective teams for the remainder of the evening.
A great evening of fun and sport was enjoyed by all who attended.
