Leinster Rugby Womens’ captain Sene Naoupu joined RTÉ Home School Hub on Monday morning to tell her story in their segment ‘Dream Big’.

The Ireland international discussed growing up in New Zealand, moving to Ireland and the honour of getting to wear the Leinster and Ireland jerseys.

The Old Belvedere centre also talked about feeling privileged being named captain of the province and how, as captain, she aims to ‘create an environment her teammates can thrive in and enjoy’.

Naoupu also shared her battle with mental health issues, how she overcame them and now looks to offer support to others through her charitable work.
