On Tuesday 2nd November North East CDO Colin O’Hare, CRO Steve Coy and CRO Gerry McCleery set the agenda for CCRO’s from the North East for a training day in Navan RFC…
The day started with administration, from then a two hour on-field session. This entailed a programme set out by CDO in which the CCRO’s coached a group of North East Under-15 development squad, watched over by both CRO’s. The players were split into four sections, with 12 players in each group who put in an active session on handling, decision making and fitness.
The skill and commitment of the players was of a very high standard as was the coaching of the CCRO’s. A large number of parents attended the session and were very complimentary of the quality all round. The next training day is set for the Christmas break, date, time and venue yet to be confirmed.
