A world record attempt and fundraiser will take place at Navan Rugby Football Club, Balreask Old, Navan on Saturday 2nd April with all proceeds in aid of Irish Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Awareness…

Pink Day will begin at 12.30pm with an assault on the WORLD RECORD for the most consecutive rugby passes, which currently stands at 279 and is held by Welsh Club, the Newport Gwent Dragons. This World Record attempt will be the first by an Irish Rugby Club and will be scrutinised by Guinness World Records.

Anyone who wishes to be part of this historic event can register from noon at Navan RFC by making a voluntary contribution to Breast Cancer Awareness. Registration can also be made in advance online at www.navanworldrecord.eventbrite.com

All proceeds will go to the Irish Cancer Society and our generous sponsors are covering the cost of all expenses involved in staging the event.

The day will also feature bouncy castles, face painting and a BBQ to make it fun for all the family. For the serious rugby followers Navan RFC will take on Suttonians in an AIL Division 3 match at 2.30pm.
