Navan Under-11’s won the Leinster Community Games rugby competition in Carlow this weekend…

On the way to the title they bet Kilashee from Longford in the quarter final and on Saturday they comfortably defeated Tullow/Grange in the semi-final winning by 15 tries to nil.

The Navan boys had only a short time to recover before they had to take to the field once again in the pouring rain against Milltown from Cill Dara and in a superbly disciplined display of rugby Navan triumphed by 9 tries to 1 to become the 2010 Community Games Champions.

The team now progresses to the All Ireland Community Games finals at the end of August in Athlone where they will try to retain the title that they won last year.
