Former Connacht player and Irish international Noel Turley (80) passed away last night after a short illness.
Born in Laois, Noel was a schoolteacher and Deputy Principal at St Michael’s College and Blackrock College and a former Irish Schools’ and Leinster Schools’ coach and selector. He served with the Leinster Branch for many years.
Funeral arrangements will be announced and updated here later.
