Over 160 primary school children took part in the Tag blitz at Tullow RFC recently. This was a great success and the highlight was Leinster and Ireland back-rower Sean O’Brien turning up to lend a hand…
As a past pupil and former youth player from Tullow RFC, Sean received a great welcome.
This is an annual event and has grown from three schools to nine over the past number of years. Thanks to Co. Carlow CCRO Wes Whitten and several Tullow club members for helping to referee the games.
Every child went home happy with goodies from the club.
