On April 4th next, De La Salle Palmerston’s U-14’S will go on tour to Santander in Spain to play local club side Independiente Rugby…

As part of the fundraising efforts for their tour, Leinster and Ireland legend Brian O Driscoll has very kindly donated a very unique prize, which will be raffled this Saturday in the clubhouse bar after the England v Ireland game.

O’Driscoll has donated a print that was made for the 2003 Rugby World Cup, when a unique billboard campaign was undertaken to promote it and world famous players were covered in paint, a canvass wrapped around a tackle bag and the players hit the tackle bag, leaving their body impression.

This canvass was hit by O’Driscoll and New Zealand’s Tana Umaga. It’s signed by both players, although O’Driscoll’s signature is more prominent. The label on the rear indicates its authenticity and that it was print no.1.

You can buy your ticket securely on line now for €;5 and remember Brian O’Driscoll has also very kindly agreed to personalise the print for the lucky winner.

The Salmo U-14 team would also like to use this opportunity to thank Brian for donating this excellent prize.
