The officials for Leinster’s back-to-back games against Toulon in the Champions Cup have been selected.

Nigel Owens will referee the first match at Stade Félix Mayol on 13th December.

The Welshman refereed the World Cup final in October between New Zealand and Australia.

Owens last took charge of a Leinster game in Europe for the away win over Castres in January 2014, with 21 points from Jimmy Gopperth and a Jordi Murphy try securing a 29-22 win for Leinster.

Wayne Barnes will take charge of the match the following week in Aviva Stadium.

Barnes also refereed last season’s Champions Cup semi-final between Leinster and Toulon at Stade Vélodrome in Marseille.

Leinster face Toulon in Aviva Stadium on Saturday, 19th December (KO 5.15pm). Tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster
