Following a recent request for expressions of interest in a bus transfer service between Bristol Airport and Bath for the Round 3 Champions Cup fixture between Bath and Leinster, the OLSC is pleased to confirm that a bus transfer service will be provided for the following flights:

Saturday, 8 December

Ryanair flight FR504 arriving Bristol Airport at 7.40am

Aer Lingus flight EI3280 arriving Bristol Airport at 8am

Sunday, 9 December

Aer Lingus flight EI3283 departing Bristol Airport at 5pm

Ryanair flight FR509 departing Bristol Airport at 5.10pm

Should you wish to book a seat on this service, seats must be prepaid in advance by sending €20pp to olsc@leinsterrugby.ie via Paypal quoting ‘BATH BUS’, your name, email address and a mobile number. We will accommodate one-way passengers at a rate of €15pp. Please indicate which journey you wish to travel on when making the payment.

We will acknowledge all bookings within 48 hours and send full details the week of the game by email.

The bus will have WC facilities. Please note that a strict no alcohol on board policy exists.

Unfortunately, there was not enough demand to provide a bus service for any other flights and as an alternative, we can recommend the Airdecker bus service (www.airdecker.com) which operates buses to Bath from Bristol Airport every 30 minutes (on the hour and on the half hour). Prices are £14 one-way or £20 return and the journey takes roughly 50 minutes.

If travelling by train, you can get a train from Bristol Temple Meads to Bath Spa and the journey time is less than 20 minutes. However, a bus transfer from Bristol Airport to Bristol Temple Meads is required and is available from outside the arrivals building. Tickets for the train can be purchased from www.thetrainline.com.
