In addition to the travel update published on Saturday night, the OLSC have the following updates as of 8pm, Monday.
Match tickets
Season ticket holders have until 5pm this Wednesday to enter a ballot for a maximum of two tickets – log into your Season Ticket account here. Tickets from the finalists’ allocations are priced between €60-€95, plus transaction fees. The draw takes place on Thursday with credit/debit cards being debited automatically on Friday (for successful applicants).
Need additional tickets or have some to spare?
Supporters from other clubs no longer attending the final should post their tickets on either www.leinsterfans.com, an unofficial fan forum not connected to Leinster Rugby, or the OLSC. Alternatively, www.toutless.com is an option to buy or sell tickets at face value. Registration is required, however, this is free and only take a few moments.
Leinsterfans can also be used to post any accommodation/transportation booked that you wish to sell – again only face value transactions are permitted.
Charter Flights
Joe Walsh Tours added additional capacity for their same day option earlier this afternoon, book now here. JWT can also arrange match tickets (1 per passenger).
Scheduled flights
Aer Lingus has flights to Bilbao while Ryanair serves Santander (see below for trains to Bilbao).
Airport Transfer in Bilbao
If you are booked on a charter this will be included. If not the A3247 bus operates a very frequent service to the city centre, it also passes near the stadium (located just 2kms from the centre). The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.
Hotel Accommodation
This continues to be a serious issue for supporters, what is left is very expensive. If you are staying over consider getting a train to another location where accommodation costs may be lower/available. See details of trains below.
Camping
At the time of writing, this option is being explored – further updates to follow if it is possible.
Trains in Spain
The last trains on match day (Saturday, 12th May) are as follows (all times local).
Vitoria – 2200 (60 minutes from €9 each way)
San Sebastian – 2035 (70 mins from €9 each way)
Santander – 2230 (90 minutes from €9 each way)
Zaragoza – 2230 (3.5 hrs from €24 each way)
Barcelona – 2230 (8hrs 15min from 52 each way)
Madrid – 1800 (game will not be finished!)
