The OLSC (Official Leinster Supporters Club) were delighted to be able to arrange delivery of two cheques to our 2019/20 season charity partners – the Down Syndrome Centre and MS Ireland.

Back in February of this year, the OLSC hosted a very well attended and lively table quiz in The Bath pub where the order of business on the evening was to raise funds for these two very worthy charities.

The funds raised from that event, coupled with the donation portion from the sale of the OLSC branded face-masks, meant that once we tallied up the total amount, we were able to issue cheques in the amount of €5,100 each.

Due to current restrictions around social gatherings, we were, unfortunately, unable to make the presentations in person. However, we were delighted that both charity partners arranged to be on-site in order to collect and from the photos it’s clear to see this certainly brightened up their Monday morning.

On behalf of the two charity partners – Down Syndrome Centre & MS Ireland, we would like to say a massive thanks to all of you who either attended on the evening or purchased a face-mask as these donations will go some way to helping out the charities in what are strange times.

Pictured receiving the cheques on behalf of the Down Syndrome Centre are Luke McDonnell and Lorraine Finn (Speech & Language Therapist) and on behalf of MS Ireland, Sally Spearman (Fundraising Team).
