Martina is a member of Edenderry RFC’s ladies team and began playing rugby for the first time two years ago.
Last season in the club Martina began helping out the coach of the club’s Under-6’s on Saturday mornings. Martina enjoyed the role so much that she herself has become one of the regular coaches of the young children every Saturday morning and the Under-18 girls while continuing her own training and match playing with Edenderry Ladies.
Martina also helps the club CCRO when there are school tag blitzes in the club, and she makes herself available to help whenever needed.
This means that each week Martina spends her spare time in the club up to four or five days a week, growing the game of rugby through her involvement.
