It was with great sadness that Leinster Rugby learned of the sudden passing of Paddy Nolan, a former steward for over 25 years in the Press Box with Leinster…
A former Dublin minor goalkeeper in the 1950’s, Paddy grew up in Clonskeagh and was a regular fixture at Leinster and Ireland games over the years.
Friends with Tony Keating, Jimmy Swan, Jimmy Lambert and Padraig Kavanagh and the ‘Motor Men’, the Nolan family would also like to acknowledge the support and friendship of Tom Lawlor who sang at his funeral mass and the Watts family, especially Jimmy and Robert.
Paddy will be missed by all his friends, neighbours and family, not least his wife of over 51 years Stephanie, daughter Suzanne, son Christopher and his six grandchildren – Ciara, Eoin, Sinead, Daire, Tadhg and Emer.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.
