On Tuesday, 17th May the Leinster Branch of the I.R.F.U., in conjunction with Avenir Sports, Ireland’s exclusive supplier of SportsCode Performance Analysis products, will present a seminar on “Performance Analysis in Rugby”…
The seminar will focus on how Performance Analysis is currently used at all levels (International, Provincial, Club and Schools levels) to help develop both coaches and players in the game of Rugby.
Mervyn Murphy, Head Performance Analyst with the I.R.F.U. National Squad, will give an insight into the day to day usage of Performance Analysis with the Ireland Senior team. Emmet Farrell, Head Performance Analyst, Leinster Rugby, will be in attendance to discuss how Leinster Rugby employ Performance Analysis with their squads.
Vinny Hammond, Head Performance Analyst with the I.R.F.U. High Performance Unit, will talk about his work with the High Performance Unit, the Ireland Under-20’s and the victorious Irish Schools Squad at the FIRA-AER Under-18 European Championship.
Avenir Sports will discuss the different usages of Performance Analysis software and how it may be used in all aspects of the game at every level. Areas covered will include Match Analysis, Individual Player Analysis, Player Development, Talent I.D., Skills Development, Strength & Conditioning and Coach Education.

This seminar is free of charge but due to limited space attendees are requested to register online in advance.
Seminar attendees are encouraged to arrive from 6.30pm onwards to view and experience the suite of Performance Analysis products.
