Leinster trailed 7-27 at the break with the Scottish side racking up a formidable lead after first half tries from Stuart Hogg, Mark Bennett and Richie Vernon.
The fightback began within seconds of the restart, Isaac Boss blocking down a kick and recovering the loose ball to score Leinster’s second try of the night after Fergus McFadden’s first half effort.
A Jordi Murphy try, followed by another for Boss, was capped off by an Ian Madigan penalty to give Leinster a remarkable 34-27 lead going into the final minutes of the game.
An outstanding comeback victory wasn’t to be, however, as Glasgow scored late on in the corner and converted to level the game, both sides finishing up a thrilling encounter with three match points.
The excitement doesn’t end here. Leinster face Bath in the European Champions Cup Quarter-Finals this Saturday in Aviva Stadium.
