Leinster secured a place in the Guinness PRO12 Final in Murrayfield with a 30-18 win over Ulster at the RDS Arena.

Leinster captain Isa Nacewa scored the first try inside the opening five minutes after a determined start by the province.

Leinster dominated the opening quarter to lead 13-0, but Ulster fought back with a try from Craig Gilroy before the break to make it 13-11.

Jamie Heaslip got Leinster’s second seven minutes into the second period, with Sean Cronin going over to give Leinster a commanding 30-11 lead – Sexton kicking 15 points in total.

With time running out, Ulster fought back to score through Gilroy again, but there was to be no late comeback as Leinster secured a place in the Guinness PRO12 Final for the sixth time in seven seasons.
