Leinster Rugby have been drawn against Lyon, Northampton Saints and Benetton Rugby in Pool 1 of the 2019/20 Heineken Champions Cup.
The draw took place at the Centre de Congres Bealieu in Lausanne, Switzerland today and was conducted by Sarra Elgan (BT Sport) and Mathieu Lartot (France Télévisions) with Bryan Habana (Channel 4) and Dimitri Yachvili (beIN SPORTS).
Having won the Guinness PRO14 Final at Celtic Park last month, Leinster were placed in Tier 1 with Premiership champions, Saracens, and Top 14 winners, Toulouse.
Top 14 runners-up, ASM Clermont, and Premiership runners-up, Exeter Chiefs, were also placed in Tier 1 following a preliminary draw.
