Declan O’Loughlin is the father of Ivor who are the proprietors of O’loughlins Hotel, the club’s new sponsors.
Both Declan and Ivor are keen sports enthusiasts, Declan having played Hurley and Football for Co. Laois with some distinction, while Ivor has played rugby for Ireland Youths, Co. Carlow in the first Division of the All Ireland League, Trinity College and at present is vice-captain of the Portlaoise Club.
