The draw for the 3rd round of the Provincial Towns Cup, sponsored by Cleaning Contractors was carried out in Tullow Rugby Club on Sunday afternoon following the host club’s 36-16 victory against Kilkenny in the 2nd round…
The draw was conducted live on KCLR96FM in the presence of Paul Deering, Senior Vice President Leinster Branch, Stuart Bayley, Honorary Secretary Leinster Branch, Trevor Merrey, Honorary Secretary Junior Section Leinster Branch and Bill Duggan, Provincial Towns Cup Tournament Director.
The occasion was given added excitement as Ireland back row forward and local boy Sean O’Brien drew the home teams while Managing Director of Cleaning Contractors Ciaran O’Brien drew the away team.
