Rathdrum RFC is a progressive club based in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. The club has a well established women’s team and has enjoyed great success since the team started ten years ago.

Having started in 2005 in the Leinster Development League, two years ago the team competed at All Ireland League (AIL) Division 2, and they currently play in Leinster League Division 1 (currently the second highest division in Ireland).

In 2015 the team won the AIL Plate and the South East League. In 2016, the team were narrowly beaten in extra time of their League final.
The club has one player in the Ireland 7s squad (who currently captains the squad) and have had players in the Leinster and Leinster development squads over the past number of years. The club is currently developing their women’s age-grade with young players of great potential coming through.
