The referees for the Champions Cup Rounds 3 and 4 have been appointed.

Jerome Garces will be in charge for the meeting of Leinster and Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop with fellow countryman, Romain Poite, refereeing the Round 4 game at the Aviva Stadium.

Poite recently refereed the Guinness Series match between Ireland and South Africa in the Aviva, which Ireland won 29-15. He also refereed Leinster’s Heineken Cup win over Ospreys last January.

Ireland’s John Lacey has been appointed by the match officials selection committee to referee the Pool 4 clash of Glasgow Warriors and Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon on Sunday, 7 December with both clubs going into the fixture on two wins from their two outings to date. Lacey will also referee the other Round 4 match in Leinster’s pool between Wasps and Castres on 14 December.

There will also be an Irish man in the middle for the Round 3 fixture between Wasps and Castres, with George Clancy taking charge. He will also referee the Round 4 game between Toulon and Leicester Tigers on 13 December.
 
Peter Fitzgibbon has been assigned to referee the Round 3 match between Bennetton Treviso and Northampton Saints in Stadio Monigo.
