Ireland’s John Lacey has been appointed by the match officials selection committee to referee the Pool 4 clash of Glasgow Warriors and Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon on Sunday, 7 December with both clubs going into the fixture on two wins from their two outings to date. Lacey will also referee the other Round 4 match in Leinster’s pool between Wasps and Castres on 14 December.
There will also be an Irish man in the middle for the Round 3 fixture between Wasps and Castres, with George Clancy taking charge. He will also referee the Round 4 game between Toulon and Leicester Tigers on 13 December.
Peter Fitzgibbon has been assigned to referee the Round 3 match between Bennetton Treviso and Northampton Saints in Stadio Monigo.
