Roscrea’s victory was laid down in the first half, when they elected to play against the wind and went in leading at half time after Sam Conlon scored a great try in the corner. After soaking up a huge amount of pressure in the first 20 minutes the Roscrea pack took over and laid the foundations for their great win.
The large crowd that travelled to the match were delighted with the result and gave great support to their team and made the journey home all the sweeter. There was great scenes of celebrations when Roscrea captain Bryan Abbott went to collect the cup.
