Leinster Rugby, in partnership with Rugby and French, are delighted to launch a new rugby camp for girls and boys in the USA.

Rugby and French have over 20 years’ experience running rugby camps abroad and in partnership with Leinster Rugby, will be bringing that experience to the USA for the first time in the summer of 2022.

The summer camp will be a week-long, rugby focused, skills and development training camp designed to accommodate all rugby age grade players. The camp is open to girls and boys aged 10 to 18 years of age with programmes designed for players from beginners to aspiring professional players.

Booking your place early is advisable with limited numbers on the camp

Rugby and French share the same principles as Leinster Rugby as to how the game should be coached and played and the skills acquired over the week-long camp will hopefully help further fuel the passion for rugby and help grow the game in the United States.

The camp will be run by Rugby and French and takes place in August 2022 at Golden Goal Sports Park, New York, nestled in an idyllic location at the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.

Built in 2005, Golden Goal is a purpose-built residential training facility that caters to professional athletes, clubs, academies and schools and college teams alike.

The camp will feature Leinster Rugby coaches who will share many of the insights and the foundations that have made the Leinster Rugby player pathway and summer camps such a success.

Why Attend the Camp?

The aim of the camp is to provide all players, at all levels, with a comprehensive rugby package and players attending will learn to play the Leinster Rugby way as they will gain a greater understanding of the game and learn about values such as teamwork, commitment, integrity and communication.

Emphasis will be placed on skill development, game understanding and of course, enjoyment.

For more advanced players, they will develop core rugby skills and learn to perform them under challenging conditions through high-class coaching in a professional environment.

Positional clinics, video analysis, nutritional information and mental preparation are all key ingredients of the more advanced programme.

As well as a great week of rugby, meeting new friends and having fun, each participant will receive a new Leinster Rugby jersey.
