The students of St. Joseph’s Boys National School in Clondalkin have over the last few weeks been involved in a six week play rugby programme…

All the boys have been very keen to show off their skills through different fun games and activities. Over 80 students from 6th class have really enjoyed their first taste of rugby and hopefully we will see a couple join Clondalkin RFC and continue playing the sport.

All the lads have shown fantastic enthusiasm in taking to rugby over that last couple of weeks. The six weeks ended with an inter-class Blitz which brought out a very high standard of rugby. The competitive nature of the lads was topped off with some excellent sportsmanship and great enjoyment.

If you would like to see a similar program in your school in the South Dublin County Council area, don’t hesitate to contact Leinster Rugby SDCC CRO Ken Moore at CROSouthDublinCC@leinsterrugby.ie or 0872832989.
