The Gasworks Bar at Grand Canal Street Upper, Dublin will become will play host to a special Guinness Area 22 Supporters Event on Thursday, 15th September, ahead of Ireland’s crucial clash with Australia…

Host on the night, Matt Cooper, will be joined by Ireland and Munster star David Wallace, who was desperately unlucky to miss out on the trip to New Zealand through injury, along with current Leinster coach Joe Schmidt. Wallace’s older brother, ex Irish and Lions prop Paul Wallace and fellow player-turned-pundit Neil Francis, will also appear on the panel.

The event will feature a new edition to the Area 22 supporters’ nights as Guinness has teamed up with Today FM and the SKY Pub Channel to feature two live broadcasts on the evening.

The first half hour of the event, from 6.30pm to 7pm, will be broadcast live on the Last Word on Today FM, which can also be viewed online at www.Facebook.com/GuinnessRugbyIreland.  Following the Today FM broadcast a second live show will take place as the stage is transformed for a SKY Pub Channel transmission between 7pm and 8.30pm.

Rugby followers throughout the country that are unable to attend the event at the Gasworks will still be able to view the show on the SKY Pub Channel at their local pub.
