School of ‘Excellence is a habit’

The Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby School of Excellence continues on in its 18th year. Hosted at The Kings Hospital, the camp offers a residential and non-residential (over-night stay) programme to young rugby players who want to develop their skills and excel their game to the next level.
The camp is open to players aged 12- 17, with an exclusive girls only camp scheduled for the final week commencing 10th August.
The Bank of Ireland School of Excellence will expose young players to a training regime designed to mimic the programming of top level athletes with an appropriately scaled workload for their age group. The aim is to increase fitness, position-specific skills, and equip players with the knowledge to develop best practice training habits and complimentary accessories including recovery, nutrition, and team building; as well as, increase the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the game.
Players will avail of:
• Top class coaching by professional coaches from Leinster Rugby.

• Leinster academy players visit camp
• Gym & flexibility work
• Video analysis
• Positional clinics
• Nutritional talk
• Daily swimming pool recovery

Camps last one week and run for the following dates:
Camp #1 Monday 20st – Friday 24th July
Camp #2 Monday 27th July – Friday 31st July
Camp #3 Monday 3rd – Friday 7th August
Camp #4 Monday 10th – Friday 14th August (Boy’s camp)
Camp #4 Monday 10th – Friday 14th August (Girl’s camp)
