Leinster Rugby in partnership with South Dublin County Council delivered rugby sessions in a very successful Halloween Inclusion camp held in Collinstown community centre….

The Gladiators are a disabilities group based in Collinstown made up of around 30 children between the ages of 5-12. They are a very enthusiastic bunch of young athletes who are deeply interested in sports and fun games.

The Halloween camp was run over two days of the mid-term break and gave the kids a chance to try their hand at a number of different sports. Cricket Leinster, the FAI and Leinster Rugby all came together for this camp and each took very enjoyable and entertaining sessions. All of the children participating in the camp were kept active throughout the course of the camp and had big smiles on their faces too.

SDCC Community Rugby Officer Ken Moore said “It was great to see all of the different sports come together over the course of the week to make this a very enjoyable camp for the children. The various development officers were quick to jump in and get involved in all the different sports on show here so that the kids could try their hand at a range of new sports”.
