What is the cost of a Season Ticket?

  • Season Ticket prices have been frozen since the 2018/19 season and are the same again for the 2021/22 Season Ticket renewals.
  • Therefore the price of your ticket is the same as it was the last time you renewed for the 2019/20 season.
  • Costs vary depending on ticket category. A full list of pricing is available here and early bird prices are available until July 12.
  • Ticketmaster service charges apply to each Season Ticket and vary depending on the category purchase. A full list of service charges is available

How do I access my Leinster Rugby Ticket Account?

  • You can access your Leinster Rugby Account by clicking here.
  • Use your email address and password to access your personal ticket account.
  • We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser.

How can I pay for my 2021/22 Season Ticket?

  • An invoice for your current Season Tickets is available when you log into your Ticket Account.
  • There are three interest free payment options to choose from and payments must be made by credit/debit card.
  • Payment Options include:
    1. Pay in Full at time of renewal
    2. Pay 50% upon renewal and 50% on August 1
    3. Instalments in the form of a multi-payments up to October 2021. Should you renew in April or May then your first payment will be at time of renewal, the next payment will be on June 30 and all subsequent payments will automatically be processed on the last working day of each month thereafter, until October 2021. The multi-payment will operate on a pro-rata basis depending on your renewal date until October 2021.

I received credit for the three missed games in the 2019/20 season, is this credit still available on my account?   

  • Credit was applied to your account for the three missed games in the 2019/20 season.
  • This credit, if not already used, can be used to renew your 2021/22 Season Ticket during the booking process at the payments page.
  • When you log into Leinster Rugby Account Manager, your account credit is listed and can also be viewed by selecting Account Activity once logged in.
  • The credit for the missed games of the 2019/20 season is available to use until June 2022.

How long do I have to renew my Season Ticket?

  • Current Season Ticket holders will be able to renew their current seats between Tuesday, April 27, and Friday, July 2.

When is the early bird Season Ticket pricing available until?

  • The early bird price is available until July 12.

What happens if I do not renew my Season Ticket by Friday 2nd July?

  • Any Season Ticket that are not renewed by close of business on Friday, July 2, will then be made available to Season Ticket holders who have renewed and choose to avail of the ‘Change My Seats’ or ‘Buy More Seats’ window.

Do I get to renew the same seat I had for the 2019/20 season?

  • Yes.

I can’t find my invoice on my account, what do I do?

  • Please email the Ticket Office with your Account ID (which is listed when you log into your account or on an old season ticket card) with your query.

Where would I find my Account ID number?

  • Your Account ID number is printed on the old Season Ticket card and, when you log into your online account, is listed on the home logged in page.

If I do not renew my Season Ticket for 2021/22 due to uncertainty around the pandemic, will my 2019/20 seat still be available to me to renew for the 2022/23 Season?

  • Any seat not renewed for the 2021/22 Season will be returned and available for public sale after the renewal window ends on Friday, July 2.
  • Should you wish to return as a Season Ticket holder in 2022/23 we will endeavour to secure the best seat available at that time.

I wish to change the location of my Season Ticket for 2021/22, how do I do this?

  • All Season Ticket holders who have renewed will then have the opportunity to change seats depending on availability, during the ‘Change My Seats’ window, details will be announced in due course. By logging into your Season Ticket account you will then be able to select from the alternative available seats on the interactive seating map
  • You must have renewed your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 Season before you can avail of the ‘Change My Seat’ option.
  • You can move to seats of equivalent value or upgrade and pay the difference without any risk of losing the seats you currently have.
  • If you wish to change seats to a lower price category, please contact the Ticket Office and include your Account ID.

I wish to purchase additional Season Ticket for 2021/22, how do I do this?

  • All Season Ticket holders who have renewed will have the opportunity to purchase additional Season Tickets depending on availability.
  • The opportunity to ‘Buy More Seats’ will become available, details will be announced in due course, after the initial renewal window has closed. Simply log into your Season Ticket account and select from the available seats on the interactive seating map.
  • You must have renewed your Season Ticket for the 2021/22 Season before you can avail of the ‘Buy More Seats’ option.

I wish to reduce the quantity of Season Tickets I have the 2021/22 Season, how do I do this?

  • Please contact the Ticket Office and include your Account ID, we can cancel any unwanted tickets and amend your renewal invoice.

I have not been a Season Ticket holder for the 2019/20 Season, can I purchase a Season Ticket for the 2021/22 season?

  • Yes, please register for our Waiting list.
  • Further details of our public Season Ticket sales will be emailed to registered supporters in due course ahead of a pre-sale for those registered.

What will happen if COVID-19 restrictions remain in place for some or all of the 2021/22 Season?

  • In the circumstances where social distancing must be observed, Season Ticket holders are not guaranteed the seat they have purchased.
  • A pro-rata per match credit or refund will be available.
  • Please note, all information included here is based on the assumption that there will be no social distancing restrictions in place. If COVID-19 protocols must be adhered to, some of this information is subject to change.

Will Leinster Rugby be offering a refund should any 2021/22 Season matches be cancelled due to COVID-19?

  • For any 2021/22 regular Season matches be cancelled due to COVID-19, options including per-match credits and refunds will be available to any Season Ticket holder affected.
  • Please note the Ticketmaster service charges are non-refundable.
  • Please note a non-refundable 20% administration and community rugby surcharge applies to all Season Tickets.

Why will 20% of the ticket not be refunded?

  • Leinster Rugby, have like many businesses seen their finances severely hit due to the pandemic.
  • Season Ticket prices have been frozen since 2018/19. Since then we have seen an increase in match-day operations costs.
  • The 20% non-refundable portion of the Season Ticket includes administration costs and the Season Ticket contribution to Leinster Rugby’s domestic and community rugby programmes.

If my Season Ticket is lost or stolen, how can I arrange a replacement?

  • Contact the Ticket Office with your Account ID and we can issue a replacement card. There is a €10 fee per replacement card.

Family, Student & Junior Tickets

What age does a ‘Junior’ Season Ticket apply to?

  • Junior is classified as any child under 18 years of age

Can I purchase a ‘Student’ Season Ticket?

  • Student Season Tickets are no longer available.
  • Previous Student Season Ticket holders can renew their season ticket however they will need to provide proof they are still attending third level full-time education.
  • Renewed Student season cards must be collected and proof of attendance at a third level institution is required at time of collection.
  • Concession match tickets for those holding valid OAP identification and third level student ID will be available to purchase via our app. Please download the official Leinster Rugby app to access these tickets. Concession match tickets will be available only via the app and will be on sale up to 10 days prior to the fixture.

What is a ‘Family’ Season Ticket?

  • Family Season Tickets is for a family/group of two adults and two juniors (strictly under 18).

If a Junior Season Ticket holder is unable to attend a game, can I use this ticket for a friend or family member?

  • A Junior season card is clearly marked and can only be used by a child under 18 years of age.
  • If a junior is unable to attend a game, please contact the Ticket Office in advance and you can upgrade the ticket to an adult ticket for a specific game. An upgrade fee of €20 applies per ticket which can be paid on match day when collecting the upgraded ticket from the Ticket Office in the RDS.

Can I bring my child/junior into the Anglesea Terrace?

  • For health and safety reasons children under 16 years of age are not permitted into the Anglesea Terrace.

Where will I be seated in the Aviva Stadium for fixtures played there in 2021/22?

  • Your seat in the Aviva Stadium will be allocated to you based on the price category of your Season Ticket and not on the location of your Season Ticket in the RDS.
  • The grid below will give you a rough guide to where you can expect to be allocated seating however you will also be given the opportunity to either move or upgrade these seats depending on your preference and availability.

I sit/stand in an unreserved section in the RDS (Terrace, North/South Stand), how do I ensure I am sitting with my usual group/friends when games are moved to the Aviva Stadium?

  • If you have several Season Tickets for a specific section in one account (e.g. one Adult x South Stand and one Junior x South Stand) you will automatically be allocated seating together for all games in the Aviva Stadium.
  • If you wish to sit with a group of Season Ticket holders from unreserved sections in the RDS we can facilitate this also. Details will be communicated by email prior to the first Aviva game of the season with instruction on how to create your ‘group’. Once a group has been created we will then allocate seats together for your ‘group’.
  • Each season you must set up a new ‘group’ and further information will be emailed in due course.

If I cannot attend a particular game, what are my options? Can I transfer my Season Ticket?

  • Season Tickets are fully transferrable, and we encourage supporters to pass on their tickets so a friend or relative can enjoy the Leinster Rugby experience.
  • Transfer your ticket via your online account
  • Please remember once you transfer your ticket this will generate a new barcode which will then void your season card for the selected game only.

Can I access tickets to Leinster away fixtures?

  • For selected away fixtures throughout the season an allocation of tickets will be available to purchase. These games usually include the Heineken Champions Cup away games and the interprovincial fixtures.
  • Tickets for other away games should be purchased directly from the home team’s website.
  • When away tickets are available, all Season Ticket holders will be contacted by email with details of availability and how to purchase.

Can I access tickets to Ireland International fixtures?

  • Leinster Rugby will have a limited allocation of tickets for home Six Nations fixtures that will be made available to Season Ticket holders. As supply is very limited tickets are distributed via an opt-in lottery.
  • Details will be circulated via email when available.
  • Tickets for away International fixtures will not be available.

How do I access tickets for the Women’s home games and Leinster ‘A’ home games?

  • Season Ticket holders can present their season card at the turnstiles to gain free access to both the Leinster Women’s home games and Leinster ‘A’ home games in Energia Park.
  • Play-off games are not included as part of your Season Ticket.

As a Season Ticket holder, am I a member of the Official Leinster Supporters Club (OLSC)?

All Season Ticket holders for 2021/22 are automatically members of the OLSC and are entitled to all the discount benefits offered as a member of the OLSC.

I’m a current Season Ticket holder, but I’m having issues logging in to my online account?

  • The recommended web browser to use is Google Chrome or Firefox to log into your Leinster Rugby account.
  • The site is no longer compatible with Internet Explorer.

How do I ensure I receive all relevant information regarding ticketing throughout the Season?

  • All Season Ticket correspondence is done via email. It is vital that you supply us with a full and correct email address on your season ticket account to ensure you receive regular updates.
  • You can view and update your contact details any time by logging into your online Season Ticket account
  • The Ticket Office is open, Monday to Friday during office hours. Our email address is tickets@leinsterrugby.ie and direct phone line is 01-208 0998.

I purchase Season Tickets on behalf of a group, is it possible for all of us to receive email updates from the Ticket Office?

  • If you wish to add email addresses to your account, please contact the Ticket Office with the additional email addresses and we will upload the to our mailing list and your account.
  • Alternatively, we can create individual accounts for everyone you have purchased tickets for and transfer the tickets across. Please contact the Ticket Office.

How will the PRO14 expand to a PRO16 tournament?

  • The South African Rugby Union formally approached Celtic Rugby in 2017 and requested that two South African clubs join the Guinness PRO12 for the 2017/18 season.
  • For the 2020/21 season neither South African team were involved, Cheetahs did not participate due to the pandemic and travel restrictions and the Southern Kings went into liquidation.
  • The 2021/22 Season will see the inclusion of four new South African teams – Bulls, Lions, Sharks and Stormers.

Who are the four new South African teams?

The Bulls are based in Pretoria and in the Loftus Versfeld Stadium (capacity: 51,700).

The Lions are based in Johannesburg and play in Emirates Airline Park (capacity: 62,500).

The Sharks are based in Durban and play in Jonsson Park Stadium (capacity: 55,000)

The Stormers are based in Cape Town and play in the Cape Town Stadium (capacity: 55,000)

Accessible Tickets

Do you have a disability ticket policy?

  • Leinster Rugby operate the following Wheelchair/Disability Ticket policy:
  • Due to our small number of wheelchair spaces in the RDS a limited number of Season Tickets are available for wheelchair users so to allow us to provide match tickets on a game-by-game basis.
  • Wheelchair accessible tickets are issued where applicants are largely confined to a wheelchair or not capable of walking to safely access the stands.
  • Wheelchair Season Tickets and match tickets are accompanied by a complimentary assistant ticket as are disability tickets.
  • Leinster Rugby reserves the right to request proof of disability from an applicant and such proof may include a copy of your disabled parking card as issued by the Irish Wheelchair Association/Disabled Drivers Association or a personal letter from your GP. All correspondence will be held in utmost confidence.
  • Leinster Rugby will endeavour to facilitate the special needs of all our patrons, subject to the services available in the RDS and Aviva Stadium. Where a ticket holder has needs or requirements not set out in this policy, please contact the Ticket Office directly and we will do the best to facilitate an enjoyable match day experience.
