In the first game the North Midlands recorded an impressive 45-5 victory over the Midlands.
The second of the back-to-back fixtures was a cracker of a contest with the South East edging past the North East by 24 points to 22.
The second round of games will be played in Donnybrook Stadium in the first week of January when the Metro Area team will come into the competition.
