The All Ireland League Division 2A are on the lookout for new players…

After a couple of amazing years Skerries senior team has been promoted to division 2A.

This will see the team renew old rivalries with Blackrock, Bective and old Wesley in Division 2A of the AIL.

With this in mind and Skerries would like to invite any players interested in playing at a higher level to please contact us.

We would also be very interested to hear from players that might be interested in playing dual status.

This would mean that the player can stay and play with their own junior club and still play league matches with Skerries.

We are hoping to have an open day in August with some trial matches and a barbecue.

A weight training program with injury prevention in mind has already begun with Eamon Harford in the clubhouse.

This program will run every Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm and Saturday at 12pm.

The Club are also delighted to announce that Johnny Tyndal has also agreed to join the senior coaching team as a specialist fitness trainer.

Johnny will be running rugby specific fitness session through the season.

If you feel you would like to give it a go please just call either;
