Skerries will also provide a specialist training session for their Italian counterparts on Sunday morning at 11.30am.
The link between the two club was initiated by Derek Reilly, a former Skerries player, now residing in Italy. The Italian Club already made a trip to Skerries on the RBS Italian weekend to play Skerrries Over-35’s.
Skerries have planned to ensure their hosts enjoy their trip to the North County Club and will be no doubt laying the plans for a return trip next year to Italy.
This year’s Skerries Under-14’s have being adapting to the 15 man game, a step up from the 10 a side minis and are learning their trade under the guidance of Anthony McMahon and Aidan McCann. The team are looking forward to this unique international fixture and making new friends.
